Visa Information
All international visitors traveling to Australia require a valid passport and a visa to enter the country.
Depending on your nationality, you may be eligible for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), or a standard Visitor Visa (Subclass 600). We encourage all international delegates to check the specific entry and visa requirements for their originating country as early as possible. For official and up-to-date details, please visit the Australian Department of Home Affairs Website.
Please note that every delegate is responsible for managing and applying for their own visa.
Need an Invitation Letter?
To receive a visa invitation letter, you need to select “Yes” to the visa question in the registration form. An invitation letter is automatically generated and sent to you via email upon successful registration only if you selected “YES” during the registration process. Once you complete your registration, please check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) to retrieve your official registration confirmation email. You can then download a copy of the invitation letter directly from that registration confirmation by clicking on “Print the Invite Letter”.
If you have completed your registration and cannot locate this automated email, or if you require specific additional details on your letter, please contact the conference organization for assistance.
Travel Information
Melbourne is highly accessible and acts as a major hub for international and domestic travel.
Conference Venue
Novotel Melbourne on Collins
Address: 270 Collins St, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, Australia
Reaching Melbourne by Plane
Melbourne Airport (MEL), also known as Tullamarine Airport, is the primary international airport serving the city. It operates 24/7 and features extensive direct flights connecting Melbourne to global hubs across Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania, alongside a dense domestic network.
The airport is located approximately 23 km northwest of the Melbourne CBD (Central Business District) and the conference venue.
- By Train/SkyBus: While Melbourne is developing an airport rail link, the primary transit link to the city center is the SkyBus Express Service. It runs 24/7 between Melbourne Airport and Southern Cross Station (the city’s central railway hub) in approximately 30–45 minutes. From Southern Cross Station, you can seamlessly connect to Melbourne’s suburban train and tram network.
- By Taxi / Rideshare: Taxis and rideshare zones (Uber, etc.) are readily available outside all terminals. A trip to the CBD/venue typically takes 30–50 minutes depending on traffic.
Reaching Melbourne by Train
If you are traveling domestically from regional Victoria or interstate capitals like Sydney or Adelaide, excellent rail connections are available. Interstate trains arrive directly at Southern Cross Station, located on the western edge of the CBD. From there, you can connect to metropolitan trains or the city’s extensive tram network.

Here are a few highly recommended spots to explore during your visit:
1. Melbourne’s Famous Laneways and Cafe Culture

A historic landmark operating since 1878, the Queen Victoria Market is the largest open-air market in the Southern Hemisphere.
