Notes, Terms and Conditions

  • All registrations include (one) dinner and reception.
  • Papers can only be registered with an author registration. Student registrations cannot be used to register papers.
  • In case of cancellation, the refund policy is as follows: All refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing and received before the specified deadline. The cancellation fee is 150 AUD. Cancellations after 5 July 2026, and no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.

Registration includes

Author Conference Registration includes: Presentation and publication of manuscript(s), conference attendance, copy of proceedings, tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops/talks, and gala dinner. Non-Author Conference Registration includes: Conference attendance, copy of proceedings, tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops/talks, and gala dinner. Student Conference Registration includes: Conference attendance, copy of proceedings, tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does each paper need a full registration, or can I register several papers with one registration?
    Number of papers against the type of registration is mentioned in the table above.

  2. I am a student. Can I register my paper at a discounted registration rate?
    No. Per conference policy, for an accepted paper to be included in the conference, it must be accompanied by a full registration. Discounted registrations can be used for attendance, but not for the inclusion of a paper in the conference.

  1. If a student accompanies one professor that has a full registration, will the student receive an invitation letter for visa purposes?
    No. The student needs to register in order to receive a letter. Every registration is accompanied by a Visa Assistance Letter (VAL).

  2. I have registered for the conference but have not received a Visa Assistance Letter.
    Please contact the conference organizers.

  3. I have not received a Visa Assistance Letter but would like to use it for my co-author or student.
    No. The VAL is not transferable as it is tied to a specific registration confirmation number. If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact the conference organizers.

  4. I have received a Visa Assistance Letter. Can you add my co-authors’ names to it?
    No. The VAL is tied to a specific registration confirmation number and is issued only to a person who has registered for the conference.

We will soon post some hotel ideas on the website. Best is to stay in Melbourne CBD, but there are a couple of hotels at walking distance from the confernce venue.

We will offer a registration option for accompanying persons. Dependent on the number of such registrations, we will either organize tours, or provide some guidance.

It will be winter time in Australia, so typical weather is cold, with temperatures in the 10-20 Celsius.

The confernce venue is located in Melbourne CBD.
